We are working with an NHS organisation in the South East in their search to appoint an Interim Board Secretary. Credible and proven experience managing the Board Secretariat function within an NHS organisation is crucial for this role. The successful appointee will be able to start ASAP and hit the ground running.

This role will start ASAP and will be for 3 months in the first instance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Trust Board secretariat;
  • The post holder will be expected to work as part of the Governance and Corporate Affairs Team; 
  • Responsible for supporting the team in ensuring that the organisation complies with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice;
  • The post holder will help establish and manage systems and processes for the sound governance of the organisation and will provide expert advice to the Board and committees.

Key qualifications, skills and experience:

  • ICSA, equivalent or be working towards;
  • Degree or appropriate work based qualification;
  • Experience of working with and influencing stakeholders across any level;
  • Experience of Healthcare Governance.
