We are working with an NHS organisation in the South East in their search to appoint an Interim Research Lead. Credible experience of research and analysis within an NHS organization is key to a successful appointment. The successful appointee will be able to start ASAP and hit the ground running.

This role will be for 3 months in the first instance

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake relevant research as directed;
  • Assessment of the relevant clinical and value for money evidence to provide outline reporting and analytics on the identified projects;
  • Provide regular support, compile and create a suitable database and record management process to deliver requests at intervals;
  • Provide strategic market and customer reports on opportunities and gaps in provision. Further provide management teams with detailed breakdowns on the levels of market penetration reached to assist in decision-making processes;
  • Support completion of regular progress reporting on activities, contributing to internal and external governance processes as required;
  • Support collection of relevant information and data to demonstrate the organization’s delivery against specified metrics.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant market research and/or data analytics experience preferably gained in a content driven commercial environment;
  • Understanding of the NHS innovation landscape and expectations;
  • Experience of cleansing, manipulating and transforming data with the ability to interpret data and analyse results to generate insights;
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to consistently generate work product with the highest degree of numerical and factual accuracy;
  • Demonstrated success in translating research findings and data analyses into actionable strategies through strong storytelling and PowerPoint/design skills;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and team interaction skills;
  • Ability to identify problems and use initiative and proactive approach to resolve them quickly.
