Job Details
Main Responsibilities:
- Led on the accommodation planning locally and strategically (including review of accommodation requests, utilisation of accommodation);
- Negotiation and liaison with staff groups regarding accommodation and moves;
- Liaison with internal and external agencies for the enabling of accommodation;
- Deal with contentious and sensitive issues requiring a high level of negotiating, diplomacy and influencing skills;
- Implementation of mechanisms to deliver stakeholder engagement and partnership working and effective consultation as appropriate;
- Liaison with Clinical services in relation to the clinical environment;
- Presentation and interpretation of information to staff within the organisation;
- Development of structure and control of information relating to the role;
- Planning of moves;
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Educated to degree level in an Estates related discipline i.e. chartered or surveyor with relevant or equivalent experience;
- Possess strong numerical, statistical, analytical, presentational and reporting skills;
- Understanding of PAM and Estates and Facilities Governance;
- Knowledge of planning procedures and an ability to write business cases;
- Understanding of the Clinical Environment and equipment;
- Developing and using complex spreadsheets, in particular through Microsoft Excel;
- Implementation of mechanisms to deliver stakeholder engagement and partnership working and effective consultation as appropriate.
