The Finegreen Group are supporting St David’s Nursing Home in the recruitment of a Care Home Director. This is a key leadership post, with the appointed candidate taking responsibility for the strategic, operational and financial management of the home.

St David’s Nursing Home is a 76 bed registered home based in Ealing, West London, providing residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort is of prime importance. The home cares for ex-Service men and women, with the objective that every individual shall live in a clean, comfortable and safe environment and be treated with respect and sensitivity to their individual needs and abilities.

The Care Home Director will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the home and in collaboration with the Clinical Quality Manager will maintain the highest levels of quality and safety across the home whilst demonstrating a value for money service. They will be accountable for the continued “commercial” success of the home whilst maintaining its charitable ethos and culture.

As a suitable candidate you will have a strong track record of operational management within a healthcare setting. You will be able to manage and motivate clinical and non-clinical staff and engage with residents and carers. We are looking for a strategic thinker with the ability able to oversee long-term planning for the home in terms of investment and capital expenditure. You will report to the Trustees and will be able to provide the assurance that the Home is providing excellence in the standards of care it provides while ensuring it remains financially stable.
