Pure Interims are consulting with an NHS organisation seeking an Interim Project Manager to deliver improvements and efficiencies within Theatre’s. The duration of this assignment is 6 months to implement and deliver service improvement objectives.  


  • Project Manage work streams to implement recommendations for theatre utilisation
  • Deliver clinical productivity improvements working closely with operational staff and clinicians 
  • Develop and ensure work streams are embedded into service pathways which support transformation initiatives 
  • Project Manage service redesigning and enable productivity and improve performance 
  • Provide leadership and support to operational divisions ensuring robust project controls are in place including project documentations, scheduling of tasks and milestones
  • Identify and mitigate any risks ensuring work steams do not effect service delivery and quality 

Experience Required

  • Relevant operational management experience within an Acute NHS Trust
  • Proven experience in acute service transformation within Theatres / Surgery 
  • Experience in delivering operational performance management targets
