Job Details

Practicus is currently supporting a acute trust who are taking the opportunity to get experienced interim support to assist with these outcomes and I am therefore looking for an experienced operational theatres manager - with a track record of tackling theatre utilisation and operational performance issues.

You will be able to support the trust to delivery its short and long term goals whilst delivering improvements to theatre performance. Key areas of concern include theatre utilisation and clinic usage linked to a number of workforce issues related to the availability of staff.

This will combine day to day operational management with the delivery of defined improvement agendas. You will be a progressive and positive leader with excellent communication skills and an ability to to motivate a team that has become jaded by the pressure that they are working under. The senior team is strong and a positive influence whilst they have some issues with finances the focus will be on theatre performance KPI's and the patients.

Here you will assist in the development of operational service improvement in relation to Theatres and the delivery of a number of improvement initiatives.
