Band 7 CHC Nurse Assessor

My Client is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 CHC Nurse Assessor to fill an interim contract. Working hours will be, 9-5 Monday to Friday, role based in the West Midlands area. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of CHC Assessment practices within the NHS. 

The daily rate for this role will be £375 per day, Outside IR35. Initially a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension, with an immediate start.

The nurse manager will work under the support and guidance of the clinical management team and is responsible for implementing the National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded Nursing Care. The best suited candidate for this role will provide professional advice to nursing homes and other providers. Their intention will be to promote good relationships and liaise with colleagues from other disciplines both internal and external to the CCG.

The ideal candidate will have developed assessment, management and communication skills. They will demonstrate a flexible approach to problem solving, prioritise their own workload as well as maintaining an oversight of a nursing team.

Requirements of the role:
All applicants must have an updated NMC Registration. 
All applicants must have experience within the NHS completing DST/ MDT, management and Panel.
All applicants must have experience working within CHC Assessments.
