A Mental Health Trust in the South East needs someone to support the Assistant Board Secretary due to the increased amount of work as the Trust faces more regulatory scrutiny. You will play a crucial role supporting the continuing quality of the corporate governance department that has high expectations for quality delivery.

You will have various responsibilities around Committee meetings including:

  • Agenda setting;
  • Commissioning papers;
  • Collation and distribution of papers;
  • Briefing Committee chairs;
  • Taking minutes / producing action notes and following up actions;
  • Ensuring the appropriate treatment of highly sensitive and confidential information at all times.

Key skills and experience:

  • Prior experience of the NHS in a corporate governance role;
  • Ability to assimilate and analyse large volumes of complex information;
  • Excellent minute taking skills.
