Interim General Manager
We are working with a Trust who are currently delivering an improvement plan whilst also running a campaign to appoint these posts (2) on a substantive basis. The role will focus on Medicine and work closely with the Clinical Board, Clinical Director and the Lead Nurse to deliver the improvement plan whilst also developing other initiatives to modernise, innovate and improve the service. Alongside the improvement and development work there will also be a focus on the day to day activities such as operational performance targets, waiting list and financial management alongside bed utilisation and management. The role will be supported by a Deputy General Manager and report to the Divisional Director of Operation. The expected duration is currently between three and four months, dependent on the success of the campaign to appoint the roles substantively.
