Are you an NHS Clinical Coding expert who has experience of clinical coding auditing?
My client a busy Acute trust urgently seeks to increase capacity in this business critical role and need extra support to tackle issues with clincial coding. Your role will be to check and verify the work of clinical coders to ensure they have assigned codes correctly, assessing and if necessary re-coding patient episodes using national standards.
You will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work with little or no direct supervision.
Band 8c on the capped hourly rate the a decent hour rate avilable of circa £42 - £44 per hour dependant on experience.
With short listing taking place directly after the Easter break I am keen to hear form suitable candidates.
