Job Details
The role will be for up to 6 months in the first instance and will be under the NHSI Agency caps/CCS NMNC Framework.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership management and direction to ensure the successful delivery of the Operational Services within the Trust;
- Responsible for leading the Surgery Division for the organisation;
- Lead the operational performance of the Divisions, implementation of business development and planning; performance management strategies and commercial development;
- Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the objectives of each of the Divisions and supporting Directorates in the delivery of their income and expenditure budgets and to manage activity within Contract;
- Responsible for ensuring the COO receives appropriate assurance on the delivery of operational performance.
- 1st degree or equivalent professional qualification/Masters or equivalent level of experience;
- Extensive proven experience at senior management level including:
- Operational Performance Management;
- Financial management;
- Strategy development;
- Demonstrable experience of managing substantial projects, delivering to target, within constraints and on time;
- Evidence of leading complex service transformation;
- A track record of leading and delivering sustainable and measurable change coupled with the ability to engage others in delivering these results.
