Job Details
We are currently working with a large and high profile university Health Board in Wales to appoint two new General Managers for Integrated Medicine and Specialised Medicine within the Medicine Clinical Board.
Reporting to the Director of Operations the General Manager will work alongside senior clinical leaders to ensure the effective strategic and operational management of the Directorate, ensuring the delivery of high quality patient services within the resources available. These posts have broad responsibility for the management of non-clinical staff in the Directorate and for working with the Clinical Board to develop services and performance, and help drive organisational change and quality improvement.
The successful appointees will have detailed understanding of the management of the NHS and significant experience working in general management within the NHS or private sector, including managing staff and resources alongside the ability to operate and think laterally at strategic and senior operational level.
