Human Resources Manager

The Finegreen Group is working in partnership with an NHS organisation based on the South Coast that requires an experienced HR Manager for a minimum three month assignment commencing in June. This role is at AfC band 7 level with a day rate of £200 - £225 per day.

Reporting into the Head of Human Resources the postholder will work in partnership with management teams to identify and deliver effective business focused coaching led HR solutions which improve organisational effectiveness, enables teams to achieve business objectives and actively influence a high performance culture that is able to attract, retain, motivate and develop high quality people.

Key responsibilities to include;
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and service managers, being involved in the development of the service workforce plans linking with strategy;
  • Identify, plan, manage and implement workforce issues and change management procedures to modernise the service;
  • Ensure effective communication, engagement, consultation and redeployment processes are operated in accordance with relevant policies and best business fit;
  • To work as part of a team and autonomously when required, to undertake conflict management and resolution, adopting a coaching and solution led approach when dealing with management of highly complex employee relations cases through to their conclusion;
  • Actively implement proactive strategies to reduce the sickness absence levels. Liaising and maintaining close working relationships with Occupational Health department and wellbeing team to ensure effective management and appropriate resolution of absence issues;
  • Influence Trust management teams to plan, promote and implement best practice HR management at all levels of the organisation, developing staff talents to provide quality patient care services.
Key experience & skills to include;
  • Degree plus relevant Post Graduate Qualification (e.g. Level 7 Advanced CIPD);
  • Associate or Chartered CIPD membership;
  • Delivered a customer focused HR Consultancy service to multiple functions, with a well-developed knowledge of employment law, best HR practice, HR policy and procedure;
  • Proven experience in developing innovative solutions to a broad range of people management issues across the employee lifecycle;
  • Two years post graduate generalist experience which includes the management of a variety of HR cases;
  • Ability to effect positive change in HR Management practice through the effective use of communication and persuasive skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
