IT WAN Project Manager - LocalGOV

Practicus are partnering with a London based Local GOV Organization who are urgently seeking an Interim IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support key change agendas in a complex IT environment.
This is a great opportunity to come in as an Interim Infrastructure IT Project Manager and deliver a WAN solution within Local Gov. You will be given freedom and autonomy to deliver this complex IT Transformation Programme. There are a lot of projects here and you will be required to separate the business critical projects and prioritize them in order of importance. You will have the support of an inspirational IT leader and a talented team, this will be a great story to include on your CV. By supporting the delivery of the IT transformation programme you will give this oragnisation the systems that will make their workforce more effective allowing them to improve the services they deliver to the local community.
Essential:
* Experienced IT Project Manager who has delivered complex WAN Infrastructure projects
* A Structured approach to IT Project Management using methodologies such as Prince 2 / Agile
* Business experience gained within a Local Gov or Public Sector organisation.
* Relationship Management and strong influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Team player who can plug in quickly to the team dynamic quickly.
* Good technical understanding of IT enabled change programmes.
* Diplomatic approach, politically astute to navigate challenges throughout the project cycle.

RATE: £400 - £450pd All inclusive Outside IR35
START: 1st - 14th June 2019
