Job Details
On behalf of a client I am working an Adults Safeguarding position with an organisation who are located in South East England, Surrey who are keen on getting someone in as soon as possible.
The role is for 3 months and outside of IR35. It could extend, which is very likely.
The role can be done over 5 days or 37.5 hours over 4 days.
If you don't have Adults Safeguarding experience but have transferable skills from being a LAC / Childrens Safeguarding specialist this could be the role for you to getting into Adult Safeguarding.
The manager does require:
- Adult Safeguarding Investigations to be taken around section 42 - Social Care and Community
- Delivering training to staff - nurses, allied health professionals, induction programmes
- Working with MCA / DoLS
- Report Writing
The first week will compromise of:
- Working with another Adult Safeguarding co-worker, which is great if Adult Safeguarding isn't your main experience
- Delivering training for Adult Safeguarding within the South East England locality
- Responding to investigations - new, ongoing, and complete
- Handling any concerns from people
You will be required to travel to their other site in South East England, which is close by.
