Deputy General Manager - Ophthalmology

Are you an experienced NHS Operational Manager used to working at a circa 8a/b level and with a proven ability to support Ophthalmology / General Surgery services

You will be a key member of the team supporting operational performance related to ever increasing demands on Ophthalmology services, patient flows and operational pressures.

Due to restructuring my client is urgently seeking the support of an experienced Service Manager / DGM to deliver operational management related to prmarily Ophthalmology but also some elements of General Surgery.

You will ensure that best practice is delivered, deliver high quality care tackling the increasing demand on the service from various patient groups. Your knowledge of core RTT targets and ability to better utilise existing resource will be key in this role.

Experience in relation to Ophthalmology / General Surgery is required for this role as is strong understanding of RTT - you will have a proven track record of operational management in a health care setting.

This role will fall inside IR35 with a good daily rate dependant on experience.
