Job Details
The Finegreen Group is working in partnership with an NHS Trust based in the East of England that requires and experienced Temporary Staffing Manager for a minimum three month assignment commencing immediately. This role is at AfC band 7 with the equivalent day rate.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Manage day to day operations;
- Leading and developing a small Team;
- Ensure compliance with NHSI agency cap / weekly reporting/ procurement of agency staff;
- Improving systems and processes relating to Temporary staffing – Developing Standard Operating procedures;
- Leading on the development of the internal Bank system, driving down agency usage and delivering savings for the Trust;
- Improving processes/ streamlining recruitment of Bank and Agency staff across the organisation;
- Work closely with E-rostering team to ensure that effective processes are in place for managing staffing requirements;
- Customer focused / Support with Investigations;
- Use of bespoke computerised systems such as Health Roster, Allocate, ESR;
- Robust experience of using MS Office products, specifically Excel;
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to provide written/verbal updates to senior colleagues;
- Ability to demonstrate experience of service improvement;
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise and plan own workload and that of others.
- Previous experience of leading a recruitment or temporary staffing function within an NHS provider organisation;
- Understanding of current NHSI guidelines around the procurement of agency staff;
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment;
- Previous use of bespoke computerised systems such as Allocate, SAGE, ESR;
- Understanding of NHS Terms and Conditions;
- Robust experience of using MS Office products, specifically Excel;
- Exceptional communication skills including the ability to provide verbal updates to senior colleagues;
- Ability to demonstrate experience of service improvement;
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise and plan own workload and that of others.
