Job Details
The post will be working Monday – Friday, full time hours and looking to appoint in July 2019.
Main Responsibilities:
- Patient safety / clinical risk experience;
- Investigating of serious Incidents;
- Complex complaints investigation experience;
- Serious Incident Management/ action planning;
- Knowledge and experience in using Datix;
- Data analysis;
- Report writing, papers and presentations;
- Inquest management;
- Risk Management & Risk Registers are of a high quality and up to date;
- Line management experience;
- Provide training on patient safety issues, clinical risk and incident reporting and
- Investigations;
- Maintain up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues
- in relation to both the specific client group and mental health.
- Quality Improvement methodology / clinical audit and effectiveness experience;
- National Audit returns;
- Experience of NHS Digital Returns;
- F&F.
- ESSESTIONAL - Must have worked within the NHS and around patient safety;
- Clinical background;
- Strong engagement skills;
- Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information;
- Demonstrated experience in a health care environment;
- Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal skills;
- Work under pressure in a busy working open plan environment and be able to multi-task;
- Prioritise workload and manage time effectively, in order to meet tight deadlines;
- Good IT skills with ability to use range;
- Ability to maintain effective relationships and develop networks to ensure effective Patient Safety;
- Knowledge of incident reporting systems and clinical risk.
