large healthcare organisation is looking to appoint an exciting new opportunity for a clinical Governance Manager based in the East of England n an interim basis of 3 – 6 months.
The post will be working Monday – Friday, full time hours and looking to appoint in July 2019.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Patient safety / clinical risk experience;
  • Investigating of serious Incidents;
  • Complex complaints investigation experience;
  • Serious Incident Management/ action planning;
  • Knowledge and experience in using Datix;
  • Data analysis;
  • Report writing, papers and presentations;
  • Inquest management;
  • Risk Management & Risk Registers are of a high quality and up to date;
  • Line management experience;
  • Provide training on patient safety issues, clinical risk and incident reporting and
  • Investigations;
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues
  • in relation to both the specific client group and mental health.
Desirable:
  • Quality Improvement methodology / clinical audit and effectiveness experience;
  • National Audit returns;
  • Experience of NHS Digital Returns;
  • F&F.
A successful candidate will have:
  • ESSESTIONAL - Must have worked within the NHS and around patient safety;
  • Clinical background;
  • Strong engagement skills;
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information;
  • Demonstrated experience in a health care environment;
  • Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal skills;
  • Work under pressure in a busy working open plan environment and be able to multi-task;
  • Prioritise workload and manage time effectively, in order to meet tight deadlines;
  • Good IT skills with ability to use range;
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships and develop networks to ensure effective Patient Safety;
  • Knowledge of incident reporting systems and clinical risk.
