We are an NHS Trust providing a range of mental health and physical health services to children and adults across South-Western England. Services delivered in the community and from our community hospitals include adult mental health, learning disability and dementia services, physical health services for adults, children’s mental health, learning disability and physical health services.

At this exciting stage in our journey, we are looking for a new Area Director to join our senior team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and the Executive Management Team, the Area Director will provide overall leadership, strategic direction and management of all service areas. The primary focus will be to ensure the organisation provides high quality, safe, patient services that meet the needs of our patients and are compliant at all times with our quality, contractual and commissioned obligations.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring services meet the Care Quality Commission regulations and by optimising resources will ensure continuous progress is made in service improvement, ensuring patients experience the best possible care.

With wide-spanning operational responsibility, this role marks an exciting stage in fulfilling our strategic vision and corporate plan.
