Health and Care Transformation Director

2 Year Limited Term Appointment - Isle of Man

Are you an experienced leader in transformation?        Would you love a job with the opportunity to make a real impact and difference?

We’re looking for an inspirational and driven                          Transformation Director to lead the high profile, fundamental transformation of the health and care system on the Isle of Man.

We believe the Island is a great place to live and work and, within this position, you will have responsibility for ensuring the Island takes the exciting opportunity to create a financially and clinically sustainable, high quality, integrated health and care system.

Reporting directly to the Chief Secretary, you will be responsible for leading the transformation to deliver a quality service with the potential to be a worldwide exemplar.

What could this role offer you?

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a broad and varied role. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact; the transformation of the health and care system will have a long-lasting effect on the Island and play a major role in the Government’s ambition for an Inclusive and Caring Society and a Financially Responsible Government.

We can offer you a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive organisation that values our people and their development. This is a full time position but, as an equal opportunities employer, we will consider flexible working arrangements.

Who are we looking for?

As a forward thinking organisation, we are committed to effectively managing our public finances and delivering the best possible health and care services for our Island community.

Excellent leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills will be vital to enable you to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in order to successfully deliver the transformation programme.

You will need to have experience in successful and timely delivery of strategic transformation change at a senior leadership level, ideally within a health and social care setting. We are looking for someone with experience of deploying a range of leadership skills and of working collaboratively with a range of contacts in order to deliver change.

If you have the skills we are looking for and have the ability to communicate with our stakeholders in the best interests of the Island, then this could be the role for you.
