Based in London, WC1

The CSP is the trade union, educational and professional organisation for the UK's 58,000 chartered physiotherapists, support workers and students; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare.

The physiotherapy profession is playing an increasingly influential role in the reshaping of healthcare in the UK and each day, its members are helping people with long-term conditions improve their quality of life by being more active.

Now we're looking for a dynamic project manager with a background in marketing, communications or insight to join us on an exciting new initiative with the potential to make a real difference to many more people's lives.

Using significant investment from partners, we're launching a major project to explore how we can encourage more people to enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of regular activities that strengthen the body.

You'll oversee the project, tendering, commissioning and then working with agencies in two distinct phases: research and creative.

The first phase will explore people's attitudes and barriers to strengthening, identifying approaches, settings and messaging that would connect with our target audience.

Phase two will then involve developing potential concepts that deliver on that learning.

You'll work with a cutting edge advisory board made up of representatives from physiotherapy, the NHS and public health, and bring your experience of taking an evidence-based approach to health communications to bear on the project.

Based within the CSP's press office, the role entails regular reporting and evaluation, both internally and with key stakeholders, and you'll have a keen eye for budget management.

You'll also have experience of working with multiple partners on projects that retain a laser focus on the desired outcomes of the work.

Above all, you'll have a passion for helping people be as active as they wish to be - however they wish to be.

At the CSP our goal is to create a culture which is characterised by innovation, respect, encouragement, passion and teamwork.
