A large NHS organisation is currently seeing to appoint an experienced Nursing/Allied Health Professional, who holds a background in Occupational Health & Wellbeing. 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist expert advice in the management of the Wellbeing and Occupational Health provision for the Trust;
  • Influence the strategic direction of the Trust to continually improve the health and wellbeing of its employees;
  • Ensure the provision of high quality, evidence-based services to managers and employees of the Trust;
  • Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels both internal/external to deliver a pro-active service aimed at improving employee health and wellbeing and attendance levels;
  • The role will incorporate some clinical case work, therefore own practice should be developed to an advanced level, whereby they can
  • directly or indirectly influence all aspects of Occupational Health provision;
  • Provide specialist advice and management plans for clients with complex OH requirements.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Must hold current registration to the NMC/HCPC register;
  • Minimum MSc (or working towards) in Occupational Health/or Evidence of relevant work-based experience;
  • Demonstrate a high level of Occupational Health specialist
  • experience and knowledge;
  • Experience of planning, implementing, managing and evaluating programmes of Occupational Health care;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to write and present highly complex information in the form of reports, policies and strategy documents;
