Job Summary

The Corporate Governance Manager will:
* deputise for the Associate Director of Corporate Affairs related to governance matters. The postholder will be responsible for coordinating the Governing Body and Committee schedule which will include governing body development sessions.

* work collaboratively with the Governance Officer to provide and effective and efficient secretariat service, including arranging meetings, collating papers, taking minutes and undertaking follow up work.

* coordinate the forward planner of Governing Body business sessions and GP governing body members meetings. Organising the meetings, producing agenda and collating papers as well as liaising with presenters. The postholder will undertake follow up work from the meeting including drafting minutes and circulating additional presentations / papers.

* ensure timely information is communicated to Governing Body members and that they are kept up to date with both local and national information.

* establish and maintain a corporate library (both paper and electronic) of literature and other documents relevant to the work of the CCG.

* undertake a range of governance and corporate projects including assisting with the implementation of the 4Risk risk management software. Coordinating the training of risk leads and producing committee and Governing Body reports on risk management.

* update the CCG's intranet and website with information on corporate governance, policies, procedures and training.
