Job Details
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide visible professional leadership and expertise to all staff in the Division;
- Continual delivery of outcome’s measures patient care to ensure high quality, safe and effective care and robust ‘ward/team to board’ governance processes;
- Create an environment that promotes the patient and carers voice and makes patient care, safety, and patient, carers and staff satisfaction everyone’s first concern;
- Deliver national and local professional and quality standards and best practice requirement;
- Line Management of clinical team, continually coaching, mentorship and leadership at senior level;
- Work positively with local partners, including CCG and Primary Care, voluntary sector and to promote the Trust and Division outcomes for local people;
- Introduce effective communication mechanisms for teams and individuals;
- Participate in activities required to ensure achievement of quality standards within nationally recognised accreditation schemes, commissioning contracts and any related requirements e.g. CQUINS, Quality account.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse, with current registration to the NMC.
- Competent and compassionate leader of staff and services, also experience of leading and inspiring teams and individuals to confidently.
