EUC IT Project Manager - Windwos 10 Upgrade, Local Gov

Practicus are partnering with a London based Local GOV Organization who are urgently seeking an Interim EUC IT Project Manager to support key change agendas in a complex IT environment.
This is a great opportunity to come in as an Interim IT Project Manager and deliver a EUC upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 within Local Gov. You will be given freedom and autonomy to deliver this complex IT Transformation Programme. Also as part of the upgrade programme be consolidating 1000 applications down to 400. There are a lot of projects here and you will be required to separate the business critical projects and prioritize them in order of importance. You will have the support of an inspirational IT leader and a talented team, this will be a great story to include on your CV. By supporting the delivery of the IT transformation programme you will give this oragnisation the systems that will make their workforce more effective allowing them to improve the services they deliver to the local community.
Essential:
* An established Senior Project Manager with a track record of EUC change initiatives
* Track record in Windows migrations and ideally consolidating significant volumes of applications and rollout of new devices
* Excellent technical understand of complex projects such as this one
* Excellent project governance - ability to inject some rigour and control into the project
* Reporting - making use of the existing structures and prioritising key information for the Head of Delivery and CIO.
* Project Skills - pivot tables, RAID logs, risk escalation, PID development, reporting, project documentation, coordination, budget management are a few obvious expectations
* Good technical understanding of IT enabled change programmes.
* Diplomatic approach, politically astute to navigate challenges throughout the project cycle.
* Confident & Credible - need to be able to manage challenging stakeholders and work at pace
