The strengthening of Nurse Leadership and the absolute commitment to providing the best possible care to those we serve has allowed us to create this special Nursing position.

As a Lead Nurse, you will be part of a team leading care for Children, Families and Young Person Services (CFYP) across the Norfolk & Waveney community. The role offers a wonderful opportunity to be part of the leadership team which will be influential in shaping, developing and delivering care designs to meet the needs of the local population, in partnership with all other stakeholders. The post holder will have specific responsibility for acute inpatient or community services within the Care Group We are looking for someone who is clinically credible. You will have experience of leading and developing people services, be; creative, innovative, and have an absolute commitment to quality improvement.

The Lead Nurse role is an influential role in the wider system ensuring the Mental Health Agenda is equal to all others and thinking in partnership with others how collectively we improve the care for the communities we serve. You will work in partnership with the Nursing Directorate on a number of local and Trust wide initiatives such as; participation, recruitment and retention, developing workforce and the sharing of innovation.

To support you we will provide each Care Group with a bespoke package of development and support.  We are embedding a new way of working so you will receive a comprehensive induction you will also receive a personal development plan which will include protected time for your professional development with support from an external coach.
