Are you a Sales professional with experience of selling services to the Pharmaceutical and Biotech markets? Do you want to be part of a company with an excellent reputation for providing market-leading, analytical testing services that are known the world over?

My client is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience of selling to the Pharmaceuticals market to cover the North-West of England.

The business provides support to Chemical & Pharmaceutical companies with regards to efficacy, assurance, testing, inspection and certification. A key focus of this role is to increase engagement within the marketplace, seeking out growth opportunities for core pharmaceutical services such as biologics, oligonucleotide and bioanalytical, both with new and existing clients.

Although you will be based at their site in the North West, occasional travel within the UK and internationally will be expected.

Key responsibilities;
•Identify key business opportunities through research, networking and prospecting
•Record and maintain all relevant information on internal CRM system
•Develop existing client relationships
•Increase brand visibility and site exposure throughout the North West, attending trade shows, exhibitions and Marketing collateral.
•Liaise with Technical and Quality teams to identify suppliers that clients could work with for mutual benefit.

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of the target markets, and an understanding of the regulatory requirements for clinical evaluation of pharmaceuticals, as well as years of experience operating in a commercial environment within this market
