Organisational Development Specialist
Northamptonshire Health & Care Partnership
AfC – Band 8b (£52,306 - £60,983)

Northamptonshire Health and Care Partnership is not a new organisation but a new way of working in partnership to improve health and care for people living in Northamptonshire. When we talk about health services we mean the services provided by the NHS for both physical and mental health needs.

In Northamptonshire, Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust provide our NHS hospital services, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides community NHS services closer to home, and GP practices provide the first and main point of contact for our day-to-day health care needs.

All of these Partners remain as separate organisations with their own local responsibilities for the services they provide, but are committed to working together towards the shared NHCP vision for a positive lifetime of health, wellbeing and care in our community.

We are now seeking to recruit an Organisational Development Specialist who will work across the partnership, engaging with the various stakeholder organisations to design and deliver Workforce and OD interventions for the system and NHCP’s response to the NHS Long Term Plan.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 4 years as a HR / OD practitioner and experience in leading and facilitating change in a multi professional environment. They will also be competent in the application of OD tools and techniques NHS experience is not a prerequisite but would be highly desirable.

We are looking for someone who can engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including medical and clinical staff. The successful candidate must also appreciate the challenges of transformational change and working across organisational boundaries.

The Trust has a rich and diverse workforce that serves equally diverse communities so we would positively welcome applicants that are representative of our staff and local people in all their diverse characteristics.
