Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals NHS Trust are looking to recruit a strong and credible leader as our new Chief Executive. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can work across systems to deliver improved outcomes for the population of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire.

Our new CEO will bring experience, drive, ambition, visibility and inspirational leadership to the organisation. In addition, they will need to demonstrate a track record of successfully delivering service change and will provide strategic advice to the Trust Board. With a stable substantive Board in place, the successful candidate will continue to build on existing recent successes and delivery of the Trust’s Strategic Vision.

We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills who can drive forward our staff engagement agenda and whose leadership style reflects the Trust’s vision and values. In addition, it is vital that the successful candidate will work collaboratively with our commissioners, stakeholders and partners to create future healthcare solutions for the population we serve.
