Job Title: Senior Scientist (Pharmaceutical)

Salary & Benefits: GBP40,000 plus 10% bonus

Location: Chippenham

We are currently looking for a Senior Scientist to join a well-known, and highly respected medical technology company based in Chippenham.

The successful Senior Scientist would be working within the pharmaceutical development team where you would be responsible for supporting product development, acting as a technical expert and leading problem solving for a wide range of laboratory and process activities.

Senior Scientist Requirements:

• Degree educated in chemistry, pharmacy or similar life science
• Proven experience of pharmaceutical analysis within a GMP/GLP environment
• Have an understanding of deviations/OOS investigations
• Experience in leading projects and supervising small numbers of scientists would be desirable

Senior Scientist Responsibilities:

• Analytical testing of products for inhalation (HPLC)
• Planning and organising lab testing workload for self and team
• Leading project and experimental work within the laboratory
• Performing and developing a wide range of experimental procedures
