I'm currently recruiting for an interim Senior Data Warehouse Developer to work within a busy trust in London.

Day to day duties:

  • Validate front end test scenarios against back end tables using SQL scripts where necessary
  • Validate migrated data
  • Raise issues and track to resolution; liaising with suppliers & end users
  • Backfill team if required
  • SQL development
  • Support Cerner data migration
  • Develop SQL scripts
  • Support the current data warehouse team

The following deliverables and services are specific to the role:

  • Support BAU activities to ensure the Data Warehouse is available for critical task including reporting outputs
  • Investigate failures in Data Warehouse Processes with the view to fix and enhance
  • Identify enhancements and performance improvement of the Data Warehouse
  • Propose solutions of fixes taking in considerations of the data warehouse architecture
  • When fixes are approved, implement, test, rollout and must be documented
  • Provide technical advice to other members of the team
  • Maintain and Support various applications within the team specifically SSIS and C# applications

Services to be provided:

  • Maintenance of BAU activities of the Data Warehouse with the minimum downtime

This is an immediate start 3 month role with a day rate of circa £375 - £400 per day dependent on experience. Inside IR35.
