As a proven leader you will become a trusted partner and instil confidence in the ability of the finance team to deliver exceptional outcomes and benefits for the Government of Jersey. Your behaviours and approach will be critical in managing the successful teams in Finance Business Partnering.

As Head of Finance Business Partnering you will lead the creation, development and implementation of a new strategic and leadership capability who will act as “ambassadors” for finance across all departments of the Government of Jersey.  You will oversee a newly formed customer – focused team of finance business partners, developing strategic alliances with other teams and functions to put Finance at the heart of decision-making.  You must be a strong and effective communicator with substantial post qualification experience and proven experience of leading teams through change. Experience in either the health sector, managing major projects or corporate services would be an advantage but is not essential.

You will be part of a developing team that values its staff, is focusing on career enhancing training and development programmes and offers the opportunity to participate in and lead on professionally demanding and leading edge financial performance – including long term financial planning, budget management,  programme financial management, new systems implementation and world class accounting and reporting.
