Interim Head of Regional Operations - Charity
My client is a specialist registered charity caring for young people across the country facing serious health challenges.
They have a really interesting opportunity for an Interim Head of Regional Operations who can provide strong leadership and management to the team following a period of change and a restructure. The team needs guidance around how to be more focused on developing successful partnerships and outcomes for those they care for that are based on a sound commercial footing. There are 7 Regional Managers in the UK and they need a leader who can help them to take responsibility for specific areas of practice and focus there and not get distracted. The next year is critical for the team and the charity and clear work plan needs identifying that looks at opportunities but also risks.
My client is looking for a firm but fair leader who has a background in healthcare. They would also like someone who has exposure to working with (or for) third sector organisations and who therefore understands the challenges faced by NfP and charitable organisations today. My client would also be interested in people with independent healthcare sector background and the NHS. You will be a visible leader and who is happy and able to travel around the country supporting your team.
The assignment will run for 6 months, with my client requires an early September start. The daily rate is between £400 and £420pd - outside IR35. You will be based in London 2 days per week with the rest travelling. My client will consider a 4-day week. If you have the required skills, please contact Andrew Vaux on 01491 577122.
