The Challenge

The Trust is currently going through a management restructure and they have someone off on maternity leave. They therefore need an interim manager to provide stability and keep the wheels turning, and oversee the 18 week performance.

The Role

  • Deputy Divisional Manager reporting to Associate Director of Operations
  • Interim assignment - 6 months
  • Full-time - 5 days per week
  • Band 8a / £30.00 per hour

The Job

  • Full operational management to the surgical division and provide oversight for Theatres
  • Manage PTL and maintain 18-week position
  • Support the delivery of the divisions CIP programme
  • Manage a small operational team

The Person

  • Experience in operational management at a Band 8a level
  • Proven track record of delivering performance targets - 18 weeks
  • Hands on, able to work at pace
  • Personalable with good communications skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent clinical engagement skills
