Recruitment Manager

The Finegreen Group is working in partnership with a healthcare organisation based in London that requires an experienced interim Recruitment Manager commencing in September.

Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner the Recruitment Manager will have responsibility to work with Recruiting Managers to provide a timely, efficient and responsive recruitment service and ensuring HR and Recruitment Systems are used to full functionality.

Key responsibilities will include;
  • Lead on relevant areas as part of the Nurse Recruitment Strategy to ensure we attract high quality nurses in a competitive market environment;
  • Line manage and oversee the work of the Recruitment Coordinator ensuring processes are efficient and administered effectively in accordance with KPIs and Recruitment best practice for Health and Social Care settings;
  • Review methods of attracting candidates and modernise the organisation’s approach to recruitment to reflect modern practice including the use of a range of technologies;
  • Act as an advocate for Recruitment and Human Resources demonstrating professional acumen and experience through practice;
  • Build relationships with internal customers to develop a strong understanding of the skills gaps and vacancies and provide responsive approaches to addressing these;
  • Work closely with Learning and Development colleagues to ensure a smooth transition of candidates from Recruitment to on-boarding;
  • Provide expert advice on market trends and identifying appropriate recruitment channels for individual posts including working with advertising agencies to negotiate and agree cost efficient deals for placements. 
Key experience required;
  • Educated to degree or demonstrable experience to this level – essential;
  • CIPD Qualified or working towards – desirable;
  • Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge of current trends within Recruitment practices – essential;
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a Recruitment function – essential;
  • Experience of working in a Health and Social Care setting – desirable;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the recruitment challenges facing Health and Social Care setting; both current and impending – essential;
  • Experience of line management and/or leading a team – essential;
  • Experience of using HR Information and/or Recruitment Systems – essential;
  • Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel – essential;
  • Good attention to detail – essential;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills- essential;
  • Excellent customer service – essential;
  • Ability to learn quickly – essential;
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders – essential;
  • Able to demonstrate a pragmatic approach and assertiveness when required – essential;
  • Enthusiasm and positive attitude – essential;
  • Ability to support others and work as part of a team – essential.
