Job Details
The position will be initially for 6 months.
Main Responsibilities:
- To improve waiting times and clinical outcomes;
- Develop and implement governance work plans for the services;
- Proactively review the functions for quality governance within the Service addressing change and improvements requirements;
- Manage and monitor the service-related Risk Register;
- Develop and implement systems and processes to promote, monitor and maintain a healthy, safe and secure patient and working environment through compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
- Ensure the effective operation of systems for: NICE and National Guidance monitoring and compliance;
- CQC Regulation compliance;
- Audit and improvement;
- Risk management including incident, risk reporting and escalation;
- Develop and utilise quality governance and risk management information systems to identify, mitigate and manage risk/safety trends and recurring themes with the Division.
- Flexibility to carry out tasks under the direction of senior management;
- Work with the Operational Team to develop, implement and monitor the operations of the Quality and Risk Management policies and associated policies within the Services;
- Can work as part of the several interlocking teams at a variety of levels within the organisation;
- The post holder will be a strong leader, easily identifiable, highly visible and accessible to staff throughout the organisation;
- Highly motivated individual, demonstrating a transformational leadership style and adopt a flexible approach to meet the competing demands of the role.
