“Our values are fundamental to ensuring people are at the heart of everything we do, our values are Respect, Compassion, Partnership. Accountability, Fairness and Ambition.”
Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust is a main provider of a wide range of specialist mental health, social care, learning disabilities and primary care services to individuals and their carers or families in Sheffield, with over 2,400 staff. We promote emotional health and wellbeing through the provision of accessible high-quality modern services. Our culture is founded upon strong relationships and co-production with staff, service users and their families and carers as well as with our partners and commissioners.
We are a growing organisation working successfully with partners across the city and with national recognition for innovation. At this exciting and changing time in the NHS, our partnerships are even more important, as a key member of the Sheffield Accountable Care Partnership, we continue to integrate physical, psychological and social care, support primary care networks through our own GP and primary care services, and improve wellbeing outcomes across the communities we serve. Our Chief Executive, Kevan Taylor, is now retiring after 18 years in the role and we are looking to appoint an inspirational leader to continue to take the Trust forwards on its ambitious journey.
We are seeking a transformational leader with an understanding of how to deliver services in partnership across a system, and with a passion for delivering high quality care. With strong communication and collaboration skills, you will involve service users, carers, staff, Governors and our partners across the public, third and independent sectors in delivering and enhancing services for our communities. Developing sustainable, effective and high-quality health and social care services you will engage and empower colleagues in continuing to support our progress and build high levels of aspiration for those we serve.
If you are an existing or aspirant Chief Executive, with extensive experience at board level delivering health and/or social care services, and share our passion for co-production, improving wellbeing outcomes, outstanding care provision, and social inclusion we are keen to hear from you.
