Job Details
Main Responsibilities:
- As a registered practitioner, to deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service, through undertaking a range of radiographic examinations;
- Provide day to day clinical supervision and co-ordination of non HCPC registered staff; including the training and coaching of more junior staff within own level of training and competence;
- Input into departmental policies and procedures as identified by line manager;
- Provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes;
- Comply with all company policies and procedures;
- Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements; provide administration support as required;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory and organisational policies and procedures;
- Undertake radiation safety training where required, regularly monitor radiation safety and take appropriate action when any issues/problems are identified, in accordance with statutory and organisational policies and procedures.
- Experience in radiographic techniques, BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification to meet registration requirements;
- Registered with the HCPC;
- Some experience within the line management of junior staffing.
