Job Details
This role will be at Band 8a/8b, will start ASAP and will be for up to 3 months in the first instance. This role would be available as either an interim under the NHSI Agency Caps or as a Fixed Term Contract direct with the organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the operational services by taking lead responsibility for coordinating operational aspects of business and service development and for the implementation of strategic planning;
- Lead service specific and organisation programmes of work associated with business processes and service development;
- Ensure that clear and systematic processes are in place to support the economic, efficient and effective delivery of key business and service objectives;
- Use experience and specialist business expertise to take a lead role in the organisations business planning processes, service improvement initiatives, transformation priorities, business and service developments;
- Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve improvements across the organisation;
- Reviewing the business process and associated performance, ensuring that data is analysed and presented to support business decision making, forging the gap between operational, corporate and business management;
- Provide an increased focus on the delivery of streamlined, efficient services which are managed and benchmarked nationally and internationally.
- Degree educated or experience equivalent;
- NHS project management expertise and knowledge;
- Proven management experience within the NHS, preferably within Mental Health Services;
- Demonstrable experience of leading projects/initiatives to change practice or service delivery to improve operational delivery, including working across professional and / or organisational boundaries.
