An exciting opportunity has arisen, following the retirement of our previous post holder, for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual; we are seeking to appoint an exceptional Chief Nursing Officer who will play a key role in setting the direction for delivering excellent patient care, safety and experience for the Trust. 

Our ambition is to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients and their families in our communities; as Chief Nursing Officer you will be integral to achieving this vision.

You will be required to provide professional leadership, in order to create a culture that enables nursing, midwifery & AHP staff to feel supported in their role. In addition you will provide advocacy, direction and advice to the Board on nursing, quality and patient experience.

Acting as an ambassador for nursing, you will take key role in the nursing workforce agenda, assuring quality and safety to deliver excellence in patient care.  

You will build relationships and partnerships quickly across all levels of our staff, patients, partners and regulators and represent the Trust at regional or national events and networks for nursing, midwifery and AHP. 

You will be a Trust Board director and will part of a dynamic executive team who are focused on delivering high quality care and making the organisation a great place to work.
