Interim Information Governance Consultant

My client is an independent healthcare provider specialising in the provision of specialist healthcare services throughout the UK.

They have an opportunity for an experienced Information Governance Consultant to support the organisation through a significant time of growth where internal bandwidth is challenged. Due to heavy workload my client needs someone with expertise in the IG space to ensure that the correct IG processes and information are in place for the organisation to work with their NHS clients. My client is looking for someone to own the process and ensure matters are moved along swiftly and that everything is in place to the satisfaction of both parties.

The successful candidate must have experience in and understand information governance requirements in the healthcare sector - specific experience of this within the acute and or diagnostic setting would be ideal. You will be used to ensuring data sharing agreements are correctly in place, information assessments have been understood and that everything is in line with GDPR requirements. It is expected you will have worked in an information management role before and therefore be an expert in the IG Toolkit and the current Data Security and Protection Toolkit.

Just as important as technical knowledge is personality, my client is looking for someone to own and drive matters forward thereby getting things done. It is vital that the interim manager for this assignment is solution minded and will look to find ways to deliver a result in a quick but professional manner.
