Job Details
The position will be initially for 6 months, working 3 days per week.
Main Responsibilities:
- The post holder with support Senior Management for Risk, Serious Incidents and Clinical Audit for multiple acute service lines;
- Deliver DATIX training on site and provide analysis of incidents;
- Reviewing organisational wide Risk Registers and deliver in-house Clinical Risk Management training;
- To carry out RCA investigations and report writing;
- Primarily responsible for pathway mapping incident management processes in each service;
- Improving processes and ensuring the governance assurance framework is followed with closure of actions and compliance with regulatory standards;
- Lead on recommendations for improvements and supporting the implementation of them.
- Extensive experience working within Clinical Risk, Serious Incident Management and Audit within a healthcare setting;
- Expert ability in the conducting of Clinical Audits also understanding of Risk Management processes;
- Must have experience in Datix and RCA; ideally will have additional qualifications/training undertaking in these processes to support this;
- Knowledge of above Policies and Procedures related to healthcare setting.
