Learning & Development Manager

The Finegreen Group is working in partnership with an NHS organisation based in Yorkshire that requires an interim Learning Development Manager for a three month assignment commencing in November. This role is on a fixed term contract basis and at AfC band 8a level - £44,606 - £50,819 pa.

Key responsibilities will include;
  • To assist in the delivery of the Trust’s OD and L&D programme;
  • Set up, manage and communicate L&D solutions across all functions within the organisation;
  • Provide effective leadership for the organisation’s L&D Team;
  • Provide regular updates to the organisations Senior Management Team.
Key experience and skills required;
  • Educated to Masters Level or equivalent demonstrable experience;
  • Management qualification e.g. NVQ4/5, ILM, Diploma Health Service Studies or equivalent professional knowledge and experience gained working as a Training Manager and specialist with a range of experience in leadership, management development design, development and provision;
  • Teaching qualification e.g. Certificate in Education or demonstrable experience of providing accredited/non accredited programmes;
  • In depth understanding of the modern NHS, organisational development, change management and developing organisational culture strategies and initiatives;
  • Strategic policy and planning;
  • Specialist knowledge in training and development, particularly leadership and management development programmes;
  • Evidence of continual professional development.
