Practicus are partnering with a London CCG who urgently require an Interim CYP Project Support Lead, band 8a.

This is an exciting support role with some leadership responsibilities relating to the specific projects in their portfolio, including business case development, project initiation and management of project team members, implementation planning and follow through to completion of projects.

The purpose of the role is to manage the entire lifecycle of a project, reporting on progress and management of risks and issues, analyse business problems and document the requirements, proposing design solutions and prepare specifications.

A key element of the role will involve working with Personal Health Budgets, supporting the CCG in deliver sustainable and integrated commissioning for children's services, including children's diabetes.


  • Experience of Children's commissioning including Children's diabetes.
  • Experience in PHB's
  • Must understand the current issues affecting the NHS and national policy on commissioning projects
  • Experience of working in an NHS Acute Trust, CCG or other healthcare delivery organisation
  • Project management skills, managing change requests, monitoring outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies to agreed quality standard
