Interim Head of Temporary Staffing

Practicus are partnering with a London based Trust who are urgently seeking an Interim Head of Temporary Staffing, 8b.

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and dynamic manager to lead a forward-thinking Temporary Staffing service, supporting the Trust to deliver complex temporary staffing solutions focussing around efficiencies and overall cost effectiveness.

The post holder will significantly contribute to the delivery of the strategic temporary staffing work plan by providing high-quality leadership to ensure the organisation has appropriate arrangements in place to meet its full staffing quota across all staff group disciplines.

This is an excellent prospect for someone who is looking to apply their experience and skills within the Temporary staffing sector in the NHS and be part of a forward-thinking solution-based service in assisting with the continued reduction in agency usage and spend.

The successful candidate must;

• Arbitrate and negotiate difficult and controversial issues around Temporary Staffing.
• Extract, present and deliver analytical performance in relation to temporary staffing service suggesting cost reduction initiatives, reporting to both managerial and executive levels when required.
• Manage and motivate the internal Medical Temporary Staffing Team.
• Demonstrate skilled knowledge within Temporary Staffing environment, be passionate about the work you undertake and can provide leadership and experience to develop and promote the exciting work of our team across the organisation.
• Have experience of using the Allocate Bank Staff, would be advantageous, although not essential.
