The Deputy Director of Integrated Governance is expected as part of the Director Of Integrated Governance’s Corporate Office to provide visible leadership and working closely with the Operational teams to maintain and develop systems that improve the Patient Safety and Integrated Governance agendas across the Trust as a whole and assist in supporting the Care Groups in achieving their required standards in ward to board governance.

The role requires a brilliant and capable leader who can engage our colleagues at all levels through the largest and most important set of changes that we have undertaken. We have made many improvements in a relatively short time, but there is no opportunity for us to step-back. In short, our colleagues deserve a great place to work and our patients deserve great care – it will be your role to deliver both through the development and implementation of our clinical governance workstreams.

You will need to bring exceptional leadership and engagement skills allied to a track record demonstrating delivery of cost, efficiency and organisational improvement in large complex organisations.

You will need to demonstrate analytical strategic thinking with the ability to work alongside and communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders. We are looking for a Deputy Director of Integrated Governance who can role model and live our shared values and show a commitment to Trust-wide learning and quality improvement. You will join a highly experienced and committed Corporate Governance team that is dedicated to further developing and strengthening our organisation.

You’ll need to be flexible, able to communicate effectively, have limitless amounts of courage, tenacity, patience and humour and the great combination of humility and presence.
