Tintagel ward is an 29 bedded acute unit specializing in the care older people and those with neurological conditions.  We are a busy and dynamic service which is under constant review and development.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse/AHP who is ready to develop their leadership skills within an acute hospital setting as a Ward Leader. The post holder will be a key member of the ward nursing team to ensure high quality care is delivered. Your role will also ensure that patients are actively progressing through their clinical pathway, and monitoring the constant clinical development of the Nursing team.

The successful candidate must have previous experience within a hospital setting, with a desire to develop your Eldercare & Neurology clinical skills and knowledge. In addition, the successful candidate will have

• Evidence of teaching, mentoring and supporting other staff
• Excellent communication and team work skills
• Good organisational skills

You will be supported with your own leadership development through in-house training.
