Job Details

We’re an NHS Foundation Trust on an improvement journey. The last eight years have seen a turbulent time for our staff with a merger, large scale restructuring and regulatory scrutiny. Things are now stabilising with a new Board and a refocused sense of direction. Our ambition is to be in the top quartile of Mental Health Trusts by 2023. We recognise, however, that we can’t achieve this ambition without our staff feeling that they have the freedom and resources to do the best possible work with our patients every day and that they feel valued and recognised for the difference they make.

This is where you come in! Everyone of us has a role to play in making Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust the best possible place to work but we’re looking for an experienced staff engagement specialist, to develop and work collaboratively with others to implement innovative and impactful plans that improve staff experience and will therefore, in turn, improve patient experience.

You will be excited by this opportunity to make a crucial difference. You will lead a small team which will also have responsibility for leadership development interventions, staff wellbeing and embedding a really positive culture of equality, diversity and inclusion.  

This is an interim role to at least the end of March 2020. Secondment will be considered.
