Job Details

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust are recruiting an Investigation and Improvement Manager (IIM) to further complement the Patient Safety Team. 

 The IIM will take the lead in investigating allocated serious incidents on behalf of the Trust.  The post holder will:

Conduct thorough investigations into serious incidents, as necessary, using root cause analysis and other appropriate methodologies, whilst ensuring that the principles of Being Open are applied.

 Draft complex reports outlining the findings of investigations and compile robust action plans in conjunction with the appropriate local managers.

Contribute to the development, application, monitoring and review of serious incidents.

Support the Patient Safety Team in the process of analysing and embedding learning across the Trust.
