Job Details
The Central North Adult Community Teams are seeking an experienced and motivated clinical psychologist to take on the 8b Lead Psychologist role for the area. The job will involve managing referrals for psychological assessments and therapy, liaising with the community team managers and deputy service manager around the day to day running of the service, line managing the psychology team and offering clinical supervision.
You will also be expected to hold a case load and to assist with triaging initial referrals into the teams. The psychology team is made up of 8a Psychologist, Band 7 Psychological Therapists and a Band 4 Assistant Psychologist. We have close links with the UEA doctoral training programme and often have trainees on placement in the department. The team is based at The Peddars Centre, Hellesdon Hospital. Experience of working clinically with complex adult mental health difficulties and in offering supervision to others is essential. The role will involve opportunities to be involved in service development and opportunities for specialist clinical supervision and training are available locally.

This post requires registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist.
